Vermeer S600TX – Mini Loader
8 minute review on this amazing little machine. Small enough to allow access in the tightest sites. Powerful enough to do the job of many larger machines. The Vermeer S600TX does it all.

vermeer service sux!
I just bought a S600TX, and the only thing that I found that I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a light kit. The MT52 and MT55 has an optional light kit, and this is good for in the morning and at night. Vermeer needs to add a optional light kit to their mini loaders!!! But its still the best!!!
if you need more weight and power buy a bigger tool….no?
Yeah but if there’s no representation you ain’t got no service and service is really what you need…
@StumpAway yeah man I’m looking for a good used one
The Vermeer S600TX is the way to go! or S800TX!
I rented an MT55, good machine but they are too light in the back. If you had a fixed tray in the back rather than the hinged tray you’d be catapulted over the bucket sometimes. Plus the Bobcat only dumps 72″ high which barely can load a 1 ton dump truck. I want to try out the S600but my local Vermeer dealer is an asshole, whereas the Bobcat dealer always is trying to help.
Its either this or Bobcat’s MT52 or MT55, I’ll rather have the Vermeer! On the Bobcat, you have to stand on a tray with a wheel on it? Vermeer, you stand in side of it. And the Vermeer’s better looking too! More thought out!
what a piece of shit the city of Baltimore has one I haven’t seen the auger go more than 3 inchs and what if it falls on you.
I find it pretty hard to beleive that a kanga could out perform an Avant, they are top of the line. Bank tellers dont stand up all day any more so why should you!
yeah – good digger! I got to visit the vermeer factory when I bought my last machine. over 2 kms long with 2000 manufacturing staff… so yeah, not aussie made out in Dalby, but that isnt always a bad thing…
cp – how long you been working for Kanga? mate I dont know why you would want to use a mobile on your digger, even if you could hold it steady, the other end wouldnt hear much over the machine – haha. Didnt see the race, but my experience with the Vermeer has been good. tough machine and being a 1 man band, service and support was important to me.
I saw a race incl bucket work, auger, trencher with Kanga, Dingo, Avant, Bobcat 463, etc in Geelong. Kanga killed em all. Dingo was close. Another amusement i found was the operator fondling with the controls on the vermeer. You can use a phone while travelling on the Kanga, finger controlled operation without confusion or stopping. I’ve challenged a few machines with my Kanga, but the only prob was trying not 2 smile. Good Vermeer digger, but only a try-hard American equal to Aussie machines.
Ya Jim, this baby is a stunner. Mine has a tremendous about of power when using the auger as well. An BOY can this thing lift!
nice one nick!
Thanks for posting. Shes a thin unit = good for backyards, keen to see more. Jim McCrossan.
